Introduction
The Kingdom of Ruperts is a large, economically powerful nation located on the island of Lyudia in the region Wysteria. The Kingdom was established by then Duke Joseph Paolucci after the dissolution of the Meraz Empire. Since then, Ruperts has grown from a largely agricultural nation to an industrial and manufacturing powerhouse.
Geography
Location
Located on the Southwest corner of Lyudia continent, bordered on the east and south by the Grand Duchy of Iyari.
Climate
Temperate; clear, hot summers in interior, more moderate and cloudy along coast; cloudy, cold winters in interior, partly cloudy and cool along coast.
Terrain
Blackrock Mountains extend along the east, surrounded by rugged hills and forests. Flat plains to the west. Central Lyudian desert extends into northwest Iyari.

People
Rupertians are descended from the Merazi peoples. The Kingdom is almost completely racially homogenous. This homogeneity extends into Rupertian culture. Almost all Rupertians are Agnocists, and all speak both English and Rupertian fluently.

Economy
Ruperts has a diversified industrial economy. This capitalistic economy remains divided into a developed industrial west, dominated by private companies, and a less developed, welfare-dependent agricultural east. Most raw materials needed by industry and more than 75% of energy requirements are imported. Agriculture is intensive, highly mechanized, and efficient by Wysterian standards, producing about 60% of food needs with only 1% of the labor force. Manufacturing and services constitute the largest share of GDP while agriculture continues to decline.
