S.R. Hadden is the President and Founder of Hadden industries and later Hadden Industries (country). Shortly after forming the company he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Originally it was a great blow to him and he disappeared from public view. Years later he resurfaced, and quickly made Haden City into a sovereign nation. He had decided that, if the cancer was going to kill him he would make his mark on the world before it did, thus turning a terrible illness to his advantage.
