History
Sacromella started playing NationStates early 2005 along with good friend Noiresque. Together they moved to the region Genosha which consisted only of one nation Anna Helene Paquin it had lost its founder to inactivity. Through negotiation with the moderators they were able to free the region and re-found it under Noiresque on the 24th May 2005.
Sacromella also started a long fruitful relationship with the region Scroll Islands. As the nation Theopian, Sacromella entered the Scroll Islands elections in the run for President and numerous ministerial positions but lost all of them due to his busy RL schedule and workload in Genosha.
Sacromella also briefly served the region Equilism as the nation Ophelious but broke free and now Ophelious is a key recruit of the Genosha Defence Force (GDF). Whilst he operated as Prime Minister and a diplomat with his main nation "Sacromella".
Theopian returned to Scroll Islands on the word of Mnemovore to help re-build the region which had fallen into a state of apathy. Theopian operated as the Head of Foreign Affairs and of Defence in the region Scroll Islands. Becoming a prominent member of the organisation Central Defense Army {CDA} led by the respectable Glenon Theopian was the Deputy Secretary of Defence under Dilber
Resigning from his Scroll Islands duties Sacromella moved into building his own region Avalon with a new nation of his called Orthoran. He also dedicated time to his CDA responsibilities and helping both The Faeyas and long-time friend Noiresque in building their new regions Elda Atulat and Prenova respectively. Soon after both regions fell to inactivity followed closely by Avalon as NationStates entered a stagnant period. Sacromella returned to Genosha full time with only two nations, the aforementioned and Ophelious. Genosha itself went through a dangerously inactive phase under former President Shenoshi through no fault of his own and Sacromella ceased to exist in the office of Prime Minister. Founder Noiresque returned to dissolve the government under questionable authority and established the Emergency Executive Committee (EEC) also highlighting the first Genoshan Constitutional Crisis. A bewildered Sacromella returned but left the government to its own devices assuming the role of Elections Official and steering clear of the regional politics.
In the 5th General Presidential Term Sacromella assumed the role of Head Justice after Bombooda former Head Justice, resigned. Sacromella revamped the Judicial Branch of Government and has become regarded as the most successful Head Justice of Genosha. Continuing in this vein Sacromella entered the 6th Elections and won Head Justice once more. Spreading his wings in the arena of Defence, representing Genosha Sacromella became a member of the RLA Central Soviet and joined the Intelligence Sector of the FRA (Red Liberty Alliance & Founderless Regions Alliance respectively).
General Information
The Consistent Consistency of Sacromella is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.439 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Social Welfare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 61%, and even higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.
Sacromella's airwaves are dominated by corporate-backed commercial radio, school uniforms are compulsory, police officers are seen patrolling the streets armed with satellite-guided truncheons, and torture is illegal. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sacromella's national animal is the Mellia, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Thorax.
