Saddam Aflaq

Saddam Aflaq is the current President of Quezadria and Secretary-General of the Ba'th Party. He seized power in a 2003 military coup and has quickly established himself as the undisputed ruler of the nation and the party, which are effectively one unit under his rule. His rule has been characterized by massive gains in education and healthcare, but also at the expense of massive decline in human rights with "traitors" being hung in public almost every day. The economy has not gone up, but his plans of corporativism are expected to cause an economic boom. He recently has been very critical of Mengistua and their lack of use of their oil industry.
