Short Biography

In Uinto

Salston was born in Uinto City, the daughter of the Mayor of Uinto City. She was well placed to understand the workings of politics and the workings of the Neudegg Treu und Wahr Social Democratic Party which she joined at the age of 15.

As a Party Officer

Salston passed up the chance to go to university instead opting to work for the Neudegg Treu und Wahr Social Democratic Party at their central office in Neudek.

As Special Adviser

Salston became Special Adviser to President Brite on Youth Affairs when 19 and remained as until she was 25.

Standing for Parliament

She returned to Uinto to stand for Parliament.

Result

The Northwest Uinto City seat sent her to Parliament with 71% of the vote.

In Parliament

Salston did not take up offers to be a Minister, wanting to use all of her time working for her constituency.

Standing to be Prime Minister

In 2004 she announced her intention to stand for the post of Prime Minister saying “it’s time for new Parliamentary leadership”. She won this election making her Prime Minister.

Relationship with the President

It is reported that her and the President get on very well and are currently making plans for reforms of the taxation system in Neudegg.

Political Future

Salston has been tipped by many to be likely to be the next President if and when President Brite steps down. This has caused conflict since current Deputy President, James Abbot Hugh Tinen, has off the record implied he would seek that job. When asked questions on the subject Salston tends say she wishes to focus on the job in hand.
