Biography
Sammy "the Dragon" Leonidas was a vibrant, determined and religious individual she was the youngest of the 3 leaders of the freedom movement and was the only one born as a slave of the valertinettians.
In the situation she was in Sammy saw first hand the disgraceful treatment the Derralians were given by their valertinettian overlords which was quite simply verbal and physical abuse and even threats of other things and Sammy was no exception everywhere she went she knew she could be attacked and this frequently happened. Gradually Sammy became noticed by the more aristocratic Valertinettians and these Valertinettians bought her from her old master and sold her on to Valertine Pikolo, the tyrant himself.
Originally Sammy had no intention of complying with Pikolo as her master but her attitude changed when the death penalty was given out after a Derralian slave killed her master. Sammy's attitude change helped her get closer to Pikolo so close she found out everything she needed to know about him and then his men, this gathering of infomation made tolerating all the abuse he gave her worthwhile. She spent 3 years in this position and was now 15 and close to her 16th birthday. Sammy now knew everything she had to and that included planning an escape.
The escape came the week before her 16th birthday she was able to steal a horse from Pikolo's stable and ride out of the city she rode through the night and following day and then arrived at Dragonheart Fort.
After arrival at Dragonheart Fort Sammy immediately had to face her Infernia. Which she passed perfectly as not a single trap was sprung against her. Such as result coupled with her infomation on Pikolo's forces made her the natural choice to lead the freedom fighters. Alongside her would fight her 2 brothers. Sammy chaired a council of war within days and it was felt that the forces would split 3 ways with Sammy taking the land forces to Hearth to try and force Pikolo out.
