San Andreas is the fifth largest subdivision of Coocoostan. It was acquired along with the area of the Los Santos Oblast as part of the San Andreas Purchase.
Geography
San Andreas' largest city is San Fierro, the 7th largest in the country, while the 11th largest, Las Venturas is also in the area. San Fierro and Las Venturas are both heavily urbanized cities and tourist hotspots. The state also has vast rural areas and is home to the nation's tallest Mountain, Mount Chiliad.
Culture
San Andreas has a vast and diverse culture. San Fierro is a very multicultural city, with a significant subculture surrounding illegal drugs in the Hashbury neighbourhood, as well as a homosexual subculture in the Queens area. Las Venturas has an economy built on tourism almost exclusively due to gambling and adult entertainment, with "The Strip" featuring many large Hotels/Casinos. The rural part of the Oblast also sees several cultural events, including mountain bike races down Mount Chiliad.

Universities
The Oblast is home to three universities. In San Fierro, there is the University of San Fierro(USF), while in Las Venturas, there is Greenglass College and the University of San Andreas-Las Venturas(USLV), part of the University of San Andreas system.
Transportation
Road
The area has a very highly developed road network, with Intrastate 1 starting in nearby Los Santos and moving west before turning north near Angel Pine and heading into San Fierro, where it splits, with the 1 going over the Gant Bridge into Bayside, while the Intrastate 3 crosses the Garver Bridge into Tierra Robada. The two highways merge back together and head east towards Las Venturas
at the Montgomery Intersection, before passing through Palomino Creek into the eastern section of Los Santos, with the highway becoming a four lane boulevard through East Beach, past the Los Santos Forum. The highway continues to the western edge of the city, past the Airport, where it passes into San Andreas, eventually arriving in San Fierro. Intrastate 2 runs from the southern link with Intrastate 1 at Los Santos International Airport, north, through downtown, with a massive interchange in the Mulholland area. It continues past Montgomery across into San Andreas, where it ends on the outskirts of Las Venturas. Intrastate 4, the Julius Thruway, circles Las Venturas and connects to Intrastate 2, headed south towards Los Santos
Rail
San Andreas has three stations on the former National Rail system, the BrownStreak. Cranberry Station is the largest on the line and located minutes from downtown San Fierro. Las Venturas has Linden Station in the East only minutes from the strip and Yellow Bell Station in the north part of the city.
Air
San Fierro's Easter Bay Airport offers flights from Juank Air to Las Venturas and Los Santos, as well as Coocoostan Airlines flights to Swahilabad. Las Venturas' Bone County Airport has the same Juank Air service to San Fierro and Los Santos. As well, discount Carrier Air Malden flies from Coocoobad. Air Kelssek also flies to San Fierro and Las Venturas from several cities, including Outineau.
