The Duchy of Saxe-Nassau-Siegen (German: Herzogtum Sachsen-Nassau-Siegen) is a small country in Patria. Saxe-Nassau-Siegen has a population of 8.6 million people. Saxe-Nassau-Siegen is a parliamentary representative democracy with a constitutional monarch, a Duke or Duchess regnant. Although it is a secular state, Saxe-Nassau-Siegen is predominantly Twentish Catholic. The Duchy of Saxe-Nassau-Siegen has been an independent political entity since the 12th Century.
Government
The Duchy of Saxe-Nassau-Siegen is a constitutional monarchy. The ruling duke or duchess is a fully-powered head of state. The head of government is a prime minister, elected by the unicameral House of Representatives. Government ministers and members of the judiciary are appointed by the monarch on the advice of the prime minister. The Duchy is a unitary-type government.
