Scott Henderson was the first president of the newly-formed Democratic Republic of Bedistan. He was elected president through an emergency election on November 8, 2004 after the Unnamed Dictator was finally overthrown after seventeen months of oppressive rule. He succeeded in bringing stability to the newly freed nation and beginning to build it into the economic powerhouse it is today.
Accomplishments
During the Henderson administration, the Bedistani constitution was drafted, re-drafted, and continually revised. President Henderson was the first to sign the document on April 13, 2009. The constitution was officially adopted after ratification by each of the thirteen states later that year.
