Sections (Laurasia)

The Sections are the mostly autonomous sectors of the government administered by the Party. They function much as cooperatives; however, they do have a single individual directing each section. The Sections serve many purposes ranging from foreign relations to counter-terrorism abroad. Yet, mostly for security reasons, not much information is known about the Sections other than a vague description of what each group does.

The Sections

Section 1

Section 1 is responsible for maintaining good diplomatic, foreign relations between Laurasia and the international community. Within Section 1 ranges many security taskforces responsible for guarding foreign envoys, it has hundreds of ambassadorial officers, and even has its own section of espionage in order to insure the national security of Laurasia. Using their many abilities to reach around the law, Section 1 is one of the most powerful sections of the government.

Section 2

Section 2 is the de facto judicial branch of the government. Section 2's responsibility is to "judge" criminals within Laurasia and punish them. These trials and sentencings are mostly bureaucratic rubber stamps, and often simply involve a Party official looking over a criminals information and judging him on face value. Most international community members consider Section 2 a blatant violation of human rights and have wished to publish this to the United Nations' Security Council, but have failed.

Section 3

Section 3 is responsible for monitoring international oligarchical collectivist movements to insure their close relation to the Party. They also are responsible for insuring that each movement or political party is orthodox to the teachings of the Party of Laurasia. If it is found that a movement, party, or individual is not orthodox, it is Section 3's responsiblity to solve the problem and return the movement, party, or individual to an orthodox standpoint.

Section 4

Section 4 is responsible for inciting international violence, assassinating unwanted political figures, and working in black operations around the world for the betterment of Laurasia. Section 4 is known to operate in both enemies and allies of Laurasia in order to insure that all diplomatic ties are bettering the goals of Laurasia and its governing bodies. If any individual or group is found to be impeding progress, it is Section 4's responsibility to fix the problem.
