The Silent Infiltration Operators, or SIOs, as they are commonly known, are a top-secret elite special forces and intelligence team designed to execute only the most volatile and high-risk missions, ranging from hostage extraction to counterterroism to corporate espionage. They are a branch of the Hoth Manufacturing Corporation, and operate out of the Hoth system, Hoth Manufacturing's industrial production nation. Trained from only the most experienced and deadly commanders and mercenaries, the SIOs are truly a force to be reckoned with, despite their extremely small numbers.

Equipment & Tactics

The UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter is the primary transport mechanism for the SIOs. These choppers, usually based out of nearby allied airfields or carriers in international waters, bring the SIOs as close as they can to their target and then quickly leave to avoid detection, only returning once the mission has been confirmed completed. From there, the SIOs operate alone, using a variety of gear to infiltrate enemy compounds and incapacitate guards, from Hoth Manufacturing Model G battle armor to M-4 carbines and silenced pistols. Ruthless, efficient, and deadly, SIOs are almost always long gone before the enemy realizes something's amiss. Details of their specific tactics are unknown, though they have a reputation for mercilessness and an almost mechanical midset, letting nothing get in the way of their objectives. One legend in the SIO ranks is that an agent shot an enemy cartel ringleader on the twentieth floor of a foreign embassy, only to realize once he was dead that he was the SIO's own brother. Instead of shedding a single tear, the SIO hid the corpse by stuffing it in a closet, finally breaking its spine to make it fit. Though this is likely either an exagerration or an outright lie devised to unnerve new recruits, it sums up the enormous gravity of the SIO missions and the emotionlessness their work demands.
