Simming is a term in the Sports roleplaying community for the generation of results, which are either not official or domestic. Both usages imply that you can re-sim as often as you like. The reasons for a sim are

  • testing of the scorinator
  • calculating probabilities
  • creating a domestic league

The maybe most remembered sim was done by Kaze Progressa for the World Cup 12 final. It ended in a 7:0 victory for Rejistania over Audioslavia and was declared to be only a sim due to the unreasonably high score (Rejistania eventually won the final on penalties after a 1-1 draw) The idea of test simulations for probability calculation purposes was created by Kaze Progressa to test the innovative scorination formula used in this Cup, abandoning sequential ranks for the first time.

Superstitious people dislike test sims before the actual scorination because they make luck run out.
