The Union of Skatval-Brandenburg (Icelandic; Verkalýðsfélag af Skatval-Brandaburgr, Norwegian; Unionen Skatval-Brandenburg).

Orgin

The name is a combination of the earlier union partner, Skatval, and the old Norse word branda, which means fire. The original name was Brandaríkí, which means "the kingdom of fire", but the ending was changed to burg which is more continental. When Brandenburg attacked Skatval in 1456, the name was changed to Skatval-Brandenburg. When Skatval revolted in 1988, the kingdom kept it's name. The name hasn't any connection to the RL German state called Brandenburg.

The Skateburgians are mainly of Icelandic and Faroese orgin, but in some border region, it lives people of Skatvalian orgin. The relations to Skatval are good.
