Smith & Deiters Tower stands tall at a whopping 950m (3116ft) tall, totaling 208 stories giving it the distinction as the tallest bulding in Riegab and presumably the tallest in The Zanziik Republic too. It is located at 4028 Ghonznok Avenue in Ethnemka, the capital of Riegab.

Construction

It was built over the course of seven years from 1995 to 2002. It was not slated to be done till 2006 though, the reason for this strange occurance is quite a story. From 1995 to 2000 it went at a slow pace of about 18 floors a year (because of the large area each floor is, 4 acres all the way up) putting the tower at 90 floors, luckily for the city the company of Smith & Deiters, whom financed the project discoverd technology that could make a light but strong steel, using this they created an almost creature like machine that could crawl up the side of the building and construct the building almost itself, using this technology the final 118 floors were built in just under two years. It was filled up almost over night because of the great campagining by Smith & Deiters.

Pourpose

The tower isn't also reffered to as a World Trade Center for no reason, the aim of the building was obviously to bring multinational corporations to Riegab and to encourage more trade throughout the region, it has undoubtfully achieved this goal.

Innovations

Aside from the crawler, there were many new additions used in the construction of this building that would make its being possible. The main difference is that the elevators are constructed not using pullies and wires, but electromagnets to propell the cars through the shaft. Also the helipads on the roof include not only a pad but there are on most buildings hangars where one can store a helicopter for use.
