The Song for the Bostopian Patriot is the national anthem of Bostopia, and is set to the tune of Dixie.

The Song is based on very nationalist ideas, which are found in the hearts of all Bostopians, and is deeply intertwined with it's Governmentary system.

The third and fourth verses were recently added upon the nation of Outer Sygon dissolving itself to Bostopian & Vladmiristaki control, and were personally written by the current Emperor Boston.

Lyrics

1) Patriots, hear your country call you! Act, or worse than death befall you! Stand strong, stand strong, stand strong, Bostopia! Lo! All of our tanks are now started, Let our islands be united! Stand strong, stand strong, stand strong, Bostopia!

Advance Bostopias flag! Hurrah! Hurrah! For our homeland we take our stand, And live or die for her rights! To Arms! To Arms! And conquer peace for freedom! To Arms! To Arms! And conquer for Bostopia!

2) Hear the enemy shelling mutter! Our colours shall never fall! The red, the white and the blue, Bostopia! Unity Rises Above Strengh! Our motto shall never fail! Stand strong, stand strong, stand strong, Bostopia!

Advance Bostopia's flag! Hurrah! Hurrah! For our homeland we take our stand, And live or die for her rights! To Arms! To Arms! And conquer peace for freedom! To Arms! To Arms! And conquer for Bostopia!

3) Bostopians heard our country call you! Death or worse did not befall you! To Arms, To Arms, To Arms, you came! Outer Sygon is now defeated Let all their land now be ceded! To us, to us, to us, and Dr.Vlad

Advance Bostopias flag! Hurrah! Hurrah! For our homeland we took our stand, We lived and died for her rights! To Arms! To Arms! We conquered peace for freedom! To Arms! To Arms! And conquered for Bostopia!

4) Patriots, hear your country call you!

Regulations

The anthem is usually played as an instrumental version, and has been rarely recorded with a singer, however, some versions do exist. When the anthem is played as an instrumental, those in attendance often sing the tune, which is most common at sporting games, when only the first and second verses are played.

When being used in an official context, by law, under the National Anthem (Bostopian) Act of 1784, can only be sung along to with official lyrics. However, the Act allows for different musical instruments to be used, as long as the tune stays the same. The tempo can be changed, such as the slower Funeral Dirge version.

In the Bostopian Cup Final of 2004, this law was used when Maria Brunna, who was performing the anthem, invited the fans to whistle the National Anthem, while she sang the lyrics. Emperor Boston, in attendance, was seen to be whistling along with a large grin on his face, and thus, it has gone down as one of the most spectacular performances of the Anthem ever, with the 105,000 capacity crowd whistling the tune.

When the Anthem is played on television at Midnight and 7AM BEST, or 23:00 and 06:00 BWST (the previous opening and closing times of television), images of the Bostopian countryside are usually used, or Fort Boston Castle is shown.
