The People's Republic of Southeastern Greenland is Socialistic Democracy in the region of Scandinavia. Its population is mostly made up of Danish speaking Scandinavians but there is a sizable native Inuit minority.

Politics
Southeastern Greenland's government is that of a socialist parliamentary democracy, and there is also an elected Prime-Minister, and a cabinet appointed by the Chancellor. The official Head of State holds the office of Chancellor, who has the power to appoint the cabinet and make limited decisions. Instead of electing candidates for the National Assembly, parties are elected. Here are the most powerful parties:
- The People's Party (Democratic Socialist)-A socialist party that supports basic socialism and workers rights.
- The Democracy Party (Liberals)-The main opposition party that wants to replace the current government with a more capitalistic one.
- The Workers Party (Third Way)-A democratic socialist party that wants more capitalistic ideals in Southeastern Greenland's socialist system.
- The Right Party (Moderate Right)-Supports extreme capitalism and conservative principles.
- The Greenlander's National Party (Nationalist)-A far-right party that advocates everything from some form of parliamentary democracy to fascism. They are conservative about matters such as homosexuals and are generally percieved to be racist. Most of the GNP leaders have left the country because their frequent attempts have been fruitless.

Southeastern Greenland is very active in foreign affairs and is known to be a compassionate nation worldwide. They offer asylum and immigration to all individuals, and much money is spent on foreign aid for less fortunate nations.
Economy
There are extremely strong regulations on business, although there is a limited economy. The currency is the green.
Environment
Southeastern Greenland has one of the cleanest and healthiest environments in the region, and the national animal the Polar Bear is abundant across the country. Zoos are illegal, for the people prefer to go out and see the environment in one of the nation's many parks, which are well taken care of.
Infrastructure
There is a very efficient infrastructure in the nation because there is a great amount of funding put towards it. There is a very efficient public transportation system in Southeastern Greenland.
Healthcare
Healthcare is provided to everybody at no cost.
Education
Every aspect of education is provided freely to everyone, from preschools to univerities.
Social Welfare
Southeastern Greenland provides an extensive system of social welfare, that includes everything from childcare to psychology.
Culture
The culture of Southeastern Greenland is principally Scandinavian but there is a great deal of Inuit influence. Politcally charged music is very popular, along with an appreciation of the arts and books. Television is completely provided by the public, and has no corporate influence, thus getting rid of advertisements. Computers are a large part of the culture too, which is fueled heavily by a non-profit piracy tolerance policy. Open-source software is one of the latest crazes in Southeastern Greenland computer culture.
Religion
People are free to worship as they want in Southeastern Greenland as long as it does not involve violence. A recent ban on evangelical christianity was just lifted. Religious organizations are banned from having material wealth. Most of the people in the country are Secular Atheists, although the religions of Buddhism and Islam are also popular.
Inuit
The Inuit are treated as every Southeastern Greenland, and in certain instances it is law that Inuit people have to be included to avoid discrimination and segregation. The Inuit have a vibrant native culture and speak Danish and native tongues. The Inuit are officially recognized as a native people by Southeastern Greenland.
Other Matters
Gay marriage is legal in Southeastern Greenland, along with: burning the flag, speaking out against the nation, and graffiti. Southeastern Greenland not only allows but also encourages people being honest and open about their sexuality, no matter what it may be. Many National Council members have been open Homosexuals and Bisexuals. The Flag of Southeastern Greenland is a combination of its name (hence the green), and the socialism the country follows (the Hammer and Sickle).
Military
There is a small military in Southeastern Greenland that exists only for defense purposes.
Law and Order
There is a small police force in Greenland, but because of the zero tolerance for guns, crime is very limited thus making a police force not needed. There is no Military Police or Riot Police.
History
The People's Republic was founded after a peaceful revolution and seperation from Denmark, and the policies that are in effect today were immeadiately put into place. There was some tumult in the region between the Vorachek and Yunuuk factions in the neighboring Greenland, but Southeastern Greenland called a meeting of the two factions in Angmagssalik, and the problem was solved by compromise. After its founding Southeastern Greenland has maintained a strong policy of neutrality, and it offers its nation to whoever needs a location to negotiate.
