SPACE is a free, active, and diverse region, populated by nations using futuristic technology, largely capable of faster-than-light travel. SPACE was founded by pirate nations, which have consistently held the region's Delegate position with occasional interruption by invaders. SPACE underwent a brief period of reform under the totalitarian leadership of Strasse II, which ejected the pirate inhabitants. The pirates of SPACE then formed a protest region until Xanthal assumed the delegacy in SPACE and re-admitted them. Pirate control of SPACE was re-established shortly thereafter. The demise of longtime leader of SPACE The Tritanium Tochiro left the region in the hands of another pirate nation, Yalari and its monkeys, which is currently serving as the region's ligitimate Delegate.
