Sport in The Phillipino Azores

The Phillipino Azores is a country of many sports; its main sport is futsal, or indoor soccer, but Arena football (indoor gridrion), box lacrosse, basketball and several variations of hockey and ringette are all played.

It should be noted that due to extreme population density, most sports are played indoors.

Futsal

Futsal is the primary sport of The Phillipino Azores, and is regulated by the Phillipino Azorean Football Association, PAFA, which also regulates the international 5- and 11-man teams as well as the occasional 11-man exhibition game. PAFA regulates three divisions of professional and four divisions of amateur play. Teams may not move between divisions: players, however, may.
