St. Mark's University (Pacitalian: Universitato San Marco) is a premier Catholic comprehensive coeducational university in Lucifora, Liguria, Pacitalia. St. Mark's is Pacitalia's oldest chartered tertiary institution, established in 677. The university was originally limited to male students until 1835, when they assented to federal legislation mandating that all universities and colleges had to be open to both men and women. St. Mark's University offers a seminary programme for entrance into the clergy, a program that is still limited only to male entrants. The university's seminary college, Collegiata Cuore Sanctitale (Sacred Heart College), is their oldest-running area of study. Smaller institutions are setup to specialise as seminaries but St. Mark's (along with Cardinal and St. Raphael of Amassora) still offers a popular entrance programme.

The university's motto, Consummatum est, can be translated to mean "it is completed", reportedly the last words of Jesus (John 19:30). The university's president, Professore Friar Sparo Michelangelo Madragano, says the school uses the motto "as a symbol of our continuation of Christ's legacy through modern pedagogy" (1).

St. Mark's University currently has an enrollment of 51,412 (including 328 in the seminary and 3,258 graduate students). It is in talks to buy the property of a defunct community college in Timiocato to establish a satellite school there. If the deal goes through the secondary campus will open in 2008 in time for the fall semester.
