The Dominion of Saint Daniel of Jerusalem is a Constitutional Monarchy with the Grand Master of the Order of Saint Daniel of Jerusalem as the nation's head of state, the Prime Minister as the head of the government, the Dominion Senate as the legislative body, and the Dominion Supreme Court as the head of the judicial branch.

The Dominion Senate is a unicameral parliament comprises of 500 senators, who are democratically elected by the Danielite electorates. The Senate is responsible for the making of the laws of the country. Every new legistative proposition must be passed by the Senate before it is being presented to the Grand Master who will sign the new bill into law. The current Senate is dominated by the Danielite Christian Union (DCU) party, whose ideology is Conservatism and Christian Democracism. The Conservative party is holding 262 seats in the Senate while its main rival, the Liberal Party, has 200 seats. The term of office of each senator is 5 years.

The government of the Dominion of Saint Daniel of Jerusalem is headed by the Prime Minister. A person needs a nomination by the Senate and an approval by the Grand Master in order to become the nation's Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has the sole power to set up his Cabinet. The Prime Minister, however, can be removed from his position by either the Senate (with a 70% agreement), or the Grand Master. The Prime Minister is therefore de facto the leader of the majority in the Senate. The term of office of the Prime Minister is 5 years.

The Dominion Supreme Court comprises of 9 judges, nominated by the Parliament and approved by the Grand Master. The Court has the power to interprete the Constitution as well as giving judgement to every cases that it takes. The term of a judge is life-long; however, he or she can be impeached by the Senate and dismissed by the Grand Master.
