Standard Resource Corp is the first corporation to exist in Neo-Erusea. The corporation was founded on the 1st of January, 1983, and has since become the second largest corporationin Neo-Erusea, as it is trailing close behind Neucom Incorporated. The idea was a simple store that had everything, a convinient one-stop shop for anyone's basic needs. The idea grew and the corporation expanded, becoming a monopoly of retail stores in Neo-Erusea. Ever since its founding Standard Resource has never changed their logo, and the corporation has changed its motto twice. Standard Resource maintains a heavily security force, although it has never used it to its own advantage.

History

Standard Resource was founded 1/1/83 by Sasha Leorenev, who is currently the CEO of the corporation. In June of the next year Standard Resource almost went bankrupt when a law concerning corporate taxes was passed, but when it was repealed a few months later the business boomed. In August, 1986, the second Standard Resource store was opened. By 1990 already seventy-six stores have opened nation-wide. The business was turned into a corporation, officialy turning Standard Resource Co. into Standard Resource Corp.

In 3rd December, 1993, a band of armed gunmen raided a Standard Resource store and killed some forty-seven customers and fifteen employees, along with thousands of dollars in property damage. In response the assault, Standard Resource formed the Standard Resource Security Force (SRSF). Until Neucom's Neucom Emergency Unit, the SRSF was the only corporate-owned paramilitary. At first the SRSF was tasked with the protection of Standard Resource stores, until the corporation decided to expand the SRSF into a potent military force. The action recieved no negative response from the Neo-Erusean government, and the SRSF remained as a paramilitary force.

In the year 2000, the corporation grew to some 1,500+ stores in Neo-Erusea. The turn of the millenium has brought large amounts of money into Standard Resource, so that in 2017 the corporation opened ts first store in a foreign country, Switalia.

In May 15th, 208, Standard Resource merged with another company, General Retailers, to form General Resource LTD. General Resource has become neck to neck with Neucom Incorporated for the position as the largest company in Neo-Erusea.
