Standard Straschkauer German is a variety of Austrian German spoken in the Grand Duchy of [[Straschkau]].

There are some differences between Standard Straschkauer German and other varieties of German. The most important ones are in vocabulary - it's strongly influenced by Czech, Hungarian, Italian, Yiddish, French and many other languages.

The most important difference in writing system is usage of letter å, which represents sound between a/o, which is present also in many Austrian dialects, but isn't used in official Austrian German.
