Standard Straschkauer German is a language variety based on Austro-Bavarian dialects of German.
 
Writing system is almost the same as in German, but there are some differences (usage of letters é, å  etc.).
 
Vocabulary of SStG is full of words, that are seen as dialectal in Hochdeutsch and words, that have come from other languages ([[English]], [[French]], [[Czech]], [[Hungarian]], [[Yiddish]], [[Italian]] etc.).
 
It's a mother tongue of 65% of [[Straschkau]]'s population.
