The Standing Parliamentary Committee on the Judiciary is a standing committee of the Danaan Parliament charged primarily with considering legislation related to the judicial system and to law enforcement. The Committee also considers the actions of the Ministry for Justice and, while the Minister for Justice chairs the Committee, his decisions are subject to review and criticism by the other Committee members. Because of the Committee's subject matter, members usually have a legal background, although this is neither required nor universal.
