Starblaydi mythology, that of the Starblaydi people, survived through history within an oral tradition of mythical song- and poem-singing, before being written down in the Sjatolkiair (meaning 'gathering for writing of song') around the time of the birth of Christ.

It forms a core around which the Fam’dai concept of chivalry is based.
