Stefan Hinkonnen is a large and powerful Starblaydi forward, who echoes Eomer Hall and Johan Keifner in his physical build and style of play.

He first came to the Starblaydi public's attention as an eighteen year-old in the Inaugural Di Bradini Cup, where he was originally partnered with Giorgio La Pranza as a strike force. Under-21 manager Apollina Iakovakis had preferred La Pranza and the young Hinkonnen as a partnership over anyone playing with Tarquin Fullbright.

When La Pranza failed to score in his first three matches, the fans called for a Fullbright-Hinkonnen strike force. In their next match, with Hinkonnen alongside Fullbright, Starblaydia scored six goals including a hat-trick from Fullbright and a brace from Hinkonnen. The fruitful partnership continued until Starblaydia were placed third in the tournament after beating Az-cz.

Moving up to the senior squad for the delayed 20th AOCAF, Hinkonnen was only used as a subsitute, as Tarquin Fullbright was paired with the older Takis Domozis. Hinkonnen scored two goals in his five appearances as a 'lowly' eighth-ranked Starblaydia made it all the way to the Quarter-Finals, before losing to top side Hypocria. In fact it was Hinkonnen himself who scored Starblaydia's only goal in that match, coming off the bench to tap in an equaliser for One-One.

In the U-21 International Justantina Cup, where Starblaydia again finished in third place, Stefan bagged four goals - outscored by Alfonso Di Angelo with five - and joined his friend Tarquin on eight goals for the juniors. His tally included a brace in the Third-Place match against the hosts, St Samuel. For his goalscoring feats at both Junior and Senior level he was given the Number-Nine shirt for the 25th Baptism of Fire, where he started alongside Fullbright.

Fans say that his partnership with Fullbright echoes back to the early days of Starblaydi football, when Eomer Hall and Simeone Di Bradini were playing, and they looks to be the strike force for the immediate future of Starblaydia on the world stage.
