Stolleborg is the capital city and a state of the Federation of Adal. With over four million people living in the metropolitan area, Stolleborg is also the largest city of Adal.
Stolleborg is the administrative, political, commercial and cultural centre of Adal. It is located almost in the middle of the country by the river Vämmelseå between the states of Strenaland and Falin-Dennemark. It is also a popular site for foreign tourists with its cultural activities and huge shopping centres.
Stolleborg was founded in the 10th century and was the residence of the prince, later king of Dennemark. In the 12th century the country was unified by King Leif the Holy of Dennemark, and Stolleborg was proclaimed the capital of the Kingdom of Adal.
The major party in the State Council is CDP. The current mayor is Hjalmar Buxt.
