Style modifiers in Sports roleplaying are constants, which define how attacking or defensive a given team plays. To explain this a bit: Karela Lines for example is known to be the most defensive team in the H1SR, while Hetkali Hetaki prefers a Hank~hilan 3-4-3. If the league was scorinated normally, it would be pure luck, which team had a good defense and which team managed to score most often. By the use of style modifiers, the defense of teams like Karela Lines is improved at costs of the attack. There are several ways to get the effect in the formula. Mostly it deals with modifying the defense constants and the number of attacks.

NSFootySim and Leagion have incompatible style modifiers. While NSFootySim uses numbers from -5 to +5 to set the styles and -5 being the most defensive (this might have something to do with defense being considered negative by the takilan programmer), Leagion uses numbers between -200 and 200, where -200 is most attacking (this might have something to do with attack being seen as negative thing by the Karelan programmer or with the fact that Rejis did not know about how style modifiers work in NSFS). To convert between an NSFS and a leagion style modifier multiply or divide it by -40.
