The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Religion & Spirituality. The average income tax rate is 25%(ATM). A very small private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.

A nation-wide cull of Gray Wolfs is in effect, bicyclists are banned from major roads, college students make ends meet by selling their kidneys, and citizens select which government department gets their income tax Marks each year. Crime is moderate. Subeta's national animal is the Gray Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Mark.
