The region of Svënstien was founded in 1300. The region is primarily produces anthrocite and petrolium. During the Great Himltro War, Svënstien served as the capital providence. Later, in 1740, the capital was moved to present-day Björkville. The annual grand prix, The Tour de Frilger, is held every April 12.
