This was the result of a fairly exhausted effort spent researching, asking around, and digging through my wealth of personal files. But in the end this might be the first full-length article that was written for NSWiki (not copied entirely from another source) to appear in our gameplay section. I hope this will be a very interesting read for those totally unfamiliar with that brief period of history (admit it, failed regimes are always more interesting). I would really appreciate it if someone could go in and proofread the article and fix my spelling, grammar, punctuation, conventions, etc. Please do not alter the facts --after going through the research I've done (including a couple of private chats with Darnand) I am confident in the accuracy of the information. But the rest of the article is a complete mess; sounds like Frisbee's realm.Canisius

Honestly, dude, this is almost painful to read. I'm going to go through and structure it a bit but kill things like "fascistesque" (talk about loaded almost-words) and the conjecture as to the name... and that's just the first sorta-paragraph.
