Maybe "shares the uniquely Ceoranan ideals of economic communism combined with social liberalism" becomes something like "shares the usual Ceoranan ideals of economic commmunist combined with social liberalism" since other real and imagined societies have done so, e.g., Israeli kibbutzim (sp? my Hebrew is crappy too), what George Orwell/Eric Blair described as the war communism in Second World War Britain, Scandinavian liberal democracies with heavily nationalised industries (one measure of economic communism), etc.

I think I changed that...I was sort of in a "tourist brochure" mode at the time I guess... ~ Ceo rant (or rave) 22:38, November 21, 2005 (GMT)

And completely unrelated, is it a good idea to list ethnic origins? It doesn't bother me, but others might find it offputting or (wrongly) indicative of a white supremacist undercurrent (especially with the Scandinavian designation, although you made a regular Wiki link which helps dispell this for less-than-casual readers).

Who says that Ceorana isn't a white supremacist undercurrent supremacy? :evil grin: But yes, that would be a good idea to change, when I think of something else to put in there. ~ Ceo rant (or rave) 22:38, November 21, 2005 (GMT)

As usually, fine work. I've got plans to make first a list of all universities, colleges and similar (I must have named 30 of them so far, and I haven't got half way through my provinces) covering the common curriculum (again, Latin so maybe sp). Perhaps one or two unusual institutions might warrant a separate entry, but certainly not the whole shebang (spelled "correctly" if a nonce word can be so describe).

Thanks. ~ Ceo rant (or rave) 22:38, November 21, 2005 (GMT)

Chess

Ooh, FIDE! That's an abbreviation you don't see used too often! FIFA (Fédération internationale des Football Associations) is far more common, not to mention the fashion FILA. 8^) I never got rated, don't play all that well, but I beat my dad ten years ago and his own self-assigned rating was 2100 (based on the computer games he played). Never played him since, so I could say in all truthfulness "I beat ya last time, dad!"
