I strongly advise against vast copy and paste from Wikipedia. As you may see from Gruenberg, I am basing my article on Wikipedia nation articles. It's a perfectly valid format. However, simply 'c+p'ing vast chunks of Wikipedia does not work; far too many broken links are created. If you are going to copy sections, please make sure you tidy up links. That said, I still think it is a bad idea. Much of the material in this article is simply Turkish history, with 'Kaanian' substited in. It has no relevance to NS. If you intend on RPing as Turkey, so be it. Even so, your history will not be the same as Turkey's. References to the European Union, for example, are deeply confusing in an NS context. I can't tell you how to write your article, or any article, but I would suggest that you choose a more appropriate way of writing about your country. Check out Falastur, Pacitalia, Scolopendra, Knootoss, Menelmacar and other nation articles for ways you could improve your article. I will try to find some examples of people who have taken predominantly RL-based nations and translated them into an NS context for you. In the meantime, this might help you get started. If you have comments, or if you would like me to remove this rather pissy little note, please let me know on my talk page. I am happy to help you with your article.Gruen2alk 14:02, 30 October 2005 (GMT)

Clean-up

I have started clean-up. For now, I've just done the infobox. I removed all dead links, except Kaanish (there are several references, and writing language articles is common). I insrted some NSwiki links, and some wikipedia links. I will do more on the article soon, once I have consulted the player.Gruen2alk 14:02, 30 October 2005 (GMT)

I'm inclined to delete all paragraphs where the author didn't even bother to turn all the "turkey"s into "Kaanias". I'm going to remove the date links. ~ Ceorant (or rave) 22:02, November 17, 2005 (GMT)

Don't. We can clean it up, I just haven't got round to it yet. Gruen2alk 22:46, 17 November 2005 (GMT)
Don't delete the date links (which I think would be a good idea) or don't delete the sections with "Turkey" (Which I agree is a bad idea)? ~ Ceo|squawk 04:21, November 23, 2005 (GMT)
No, I meant, for now we shouldn't delete swathes of text. I'm all for cleaning up dead links, though. Gruen2alk 08:17, 23 November 2005 (GMT)

Sorry

I tried my best, but I just don't have the time or energy to complete this document. I would apriciate it if we could delete this page altogether. Or I can just write a little stub. Whatever floats your boat.

Done. Gruen2alk 09:17, 9 January 2006 (GMT)
