fixed.  the problem was the "align" statements.  Remove them, and it doesn't try to text-wrap.  Added a couple of tweaks to your legends too - play with them if you want. [[User:Frisbeeteria|&rarr; Fris]] [[User talk:Frisbeeteria|&Theta;<small>''talk''</small>]] 23:31, 9 Dec 2004 (GMT)

Is it not sad that I am now lacking in anything to boast of?

Revision as of 15:58, 25 May 2005

I've completely reworked Fodian Federal Districts. I'm temporarily hosting your map on my own Photobucket page, but I'd like you to set up your own account since the Freewebs link is consistently failing. Visit http://photobucket.com for details. I've also added a color-coded legend, reproduced here. Apologies if I got some of the colors wrong, but your purples are pretty close in shade. Feel free to change the colors - here's a good color site. If all you were using the Table of Contents for was as a color legend, I'd advise removing that. Since I didn't know your plans, I left it. Also, if any of the names in the legend have their own page, you can link them easily. Frisbeeteria Θtalk 18:12, 18 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Of course I'm adding more! That would be a pretty pathetic Wiki page if all that was there was.. What I had. I know it's hard to believe, but- I'm only human! Yes yes, as much as you probably cannot believe this, I too need sleep. Thank you for the spiffy Color Key though. Is there a way or re-positioning it though?

By taking out the Align="right" and moving it on THIS page, I've demonstrated one way to move it about. If you want text to wrap, you must use an align statement. I personally would have preferred it at the top of the page, but your map is so large that it overlaps some content. Basically, the first line of (wherever you post the table code) marks the top of the box, and you can align left, right (by using it the way I set it up, or center (though I can't imagine why you would want to).

Does the map really appear all that large in your browser? It's quite nicely sized in mine.

iStandard

Yay! I finished the Standard dry and technical part of this page! I feel it looks spiffy now. Just have to add some personal touches to the Districts, as soon as I figure out how to go about wording it. ---

Once again I couldn't stand to leave it alone. I've incorporated the map and the legend into a single table. See what you think! Frisbeeteria Θtalk 20:53, 23 Oct 2004 (GMT)
