When someone says terrorist, most people (at least of those reading this) would instantly think of some mid-eastern group or another - even though many more civilized cultures have terrorists in their own right (IRA, Oklahoma City, etc).

Whatever. I have only just started looking at this page for revamp so I haven't even read that since I first wrote it. In fact, I'm pretty sure it went through as a wholly unedited section that I just spewed out in 10 minutes. Point was "don't think Mid-Eastern culture, because even the west has its own terrorists". A lot of my stuff is getting rebuilt from scratch so we'll see how it is in the next round of editing. --Forgottenlord 02:52, 26 October 2006 (GMT)

On a much different note, my statement does not say the Mid-East is "uncivilised", just "less civilised". If civilized is defined based upon how you treat your citizens, your poor, your women, your religion, etc, they are inherently backwards compared to western societies. That is not to say they lack civility or that they are undeveloped as a culture. I fail to see how a statement such as that is actually POV questionable - especially considering the nature of this wiki (fine, it wouldn't be acceptable on Wikipedia pages). --Forgottenlord 17:29, 26 October 2006 (GMT)
