Any suggestions for the page (and the PEELstates in general) that you aren't sure about, chuck 'em in here and we'll have a chat about it.

By the way, I recommend everyone get a profile to make categorizing easier. - Ray

Streamlining

I've moved a lot of the stuff that really could be (and perhaps should have been) kept to sub-pages - as weiner suggested on the forum. Doing all that - and reducing size of the main flag (plus removing all the nation names from the actual infobox) got us from 42kb to about 36 I think it's now. That's still about 4kb over, so we're going to have to figure out what we can perhaps really butcher to save some space as I think I've removed a fair deal of the flab - if much more is removed then this will sadly decrease the appeal of the page I feel because I think it's the amount of text rather than the images I think that really bump up the page size. Could be wrong though.

Thoughts?

I suppose we could cut down on the descriptions for each nation, leaving most of those details to the individual nations' pages. That reminds me, I've not done much work on NSWiki in a while. I may add things here and there... - Brian

Best option is to remove some of the text in nation description and maybe cut down a little bit on the introduction; most of the stuff in the intro would probably be best suited for the history section, anyway. We'll have to use fairly base descriptions on the main page if we decided to follow through with this, and if that works out we could probably fit in some more logos, for the smaller nations as well as the "other" categories.

Number of dead links

I was scrolling through the Wanted Pages list and I noticed that dozens of them seemed to be related to PEEL. Given that there doesn't seem to have been much action on these pages, how about either creating the pages or deleting the dead links? Just a thought.
