"The Pacitalian population, overall, just passed 2.3 billion residents according to the last census. Aztecs and Mayans, the original inhabitants of the lands known now as Pacitalia, account for a mere 0.006 percent of the population (about 13.8 million residents), and sadly are classified in the "Other" category during census taking."

Wouldn't 0.006 percent of the population be equal to about 138,000 residents, not 13.8 million? Since I don't know which number (0.006 or 13.8 million) is correct, I bring it up here. --Bedistan 04:41, 6 Jun 2005 (GMT)

Naw, it's 13.8 million. I used calculator to figure it out. Pacitalia 21:47, 6 Jun 2005 (GMT)

1 percent is 0.01 of the total (since 100 percent would be 1.00). Therefore, 0.006 percent is 0.00006 of the total, and 2,300,000,000 * 0.00006 = 138,000. --Bedistan 22:36, 6 Jun 2005 (GMT)

A most excellent article, in my humble opinion. So I'm suggesting it as a candidate to be featured. - Aridd (20 Sept 2005)
