Other players prefer to invent completely new religions or sects, although these rarely gain much influence outside their own nation. Notable exceptions to this rule are Sirithilism, Reich-style Christianity, the historical Ton Ton Macoute, and the Order of the Invisible Hand.

The Ton Ton Machoute link leads directly to S&Vs nation page with no seperate article - and from what I can tell it never was a movement outside of its own nation (meaning it would not belong in this list of religious movements that were bigger then a nation). Did I misread that? -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 09:09, 19 Nov 2004 (GMT)

Sorry, I've only just seen this. I think at the time you commented the Ton Ton Macoute was listed under the S&V page as Religions & Folk Tales, you probably missed it. However, I didn't make this link here and found it by accident. Subsequently I have given it a page of its own, upgraded the content appropriately and changed the link to lead directly to it. As for being bigger than a single nation, perhaps the fact that the link spookily appeared here without the knowledge of the originators would suggest there is a secret cult following and the word "historical" should be removed from the entry. However, I'm personally entirely ambivalent as to whether there should be a link here or not. Sacco and Vanzetti 18:07, 21 Nov 2004 (GMT)

I've seen the page upgrades and they look very nice. And if there is a transnational cult or something nowadays it belongs there. It is a fine entry do I do not really mind the link at all. -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 18:46, 21 Nov 2004 (GMT)
