I have reverted the blanking of this article since it has multiple editors, has substantial information, and was created by a logged in user. It is however an article on a nation which no longer exists, which may be the reason it was blanked by the anonymous ip; but I think this article should not be blanked/deleted and instead turned into a historic nation article since United Elias was around for many years and had interaction with many different nations. Since User:195.93.21.69 has repeatedly blanked large swaths of text from this article without offering any explanation whatsoever on any talk pages I request that said user offer some kind of explanation before editing the article again . John 16:38, 5 May 2007 (GMT)

This page causes considerable ambiguity, contains some offensive material and is also out of date so there is no reason why it should not be deleted.-Unsigned comment left by User:64.12.116.67

Please point out the specific examples of offensive material, and explain why it is offensive before editing the article John 16:45, 13 May 2007 (GMT)

Protection

This page is now protected. It can be edited only by registered users. It should not be blanked until/unless reasons have been given for its deletion, and until/unless there is consensus. Aridd 17:09, 13 May 2007 (GMT)

Deletion

Please delete this page. My name is Alexander Elias and I dont like my name being used in this way. I also resent the fact that whoever wrote it seems to have used many real family names (available in numerous publications on Iraqi history) from my family and the history at least the early parts are based on real events. This is therefore somewhat offensive to me personally and I suggest that in accordance with convention on data protection that all references to names, especially mine are removed from this article forthwith. -Unsigned comment left by User:195.93.21.73

I think you are going to have to offer some kind of proof of that claim. Even if it is your real name; Alexander and Elias are both used as first names in many countries, so a coincidental combination doesn't qualify this article for deletion. John 21:34, 1 July 2007 (GMT)

This is not a coincidental combination given that every name on here is taken from directly from my own family tree! (available online here http://www.dangoor.com/73page139.html). Im not asking for the article to be deleted. I dont care about that, I just want my name removed from its contents so that a google search under my name doesnt return this page. That is not an unreasonable request. -Unsigned comment left by User:Aeli9

Yes it is unreasonable. The page you have linked to has no instance of "Alexander Elias". You claiming some kind of ownership rights over "Elias" would be the same as me claiming "Smith" was exclusively my family. I am still assuming you are the same user as 64.12.116.67, 195.93.21.69, and 195.93.21.73 (all aol ips), and that you registered Aeli9 specifically to edit this page, even though you have been on NSwiki for 3 years, which also places you within the time frame of United Elias' existence. I find it highly suspicious that you decide that this must be edited only after the player behind United Elias has left the game. If you like I will or you can request arbitration of this issue from the NSwiki sysops/admins. See NSwiki:Arbitration for details. And please sign your comments in the future with four tildes ~~~~ John 23:22, 5 July 2007 (GMT)

Blanking? I'm sorry?

I just recieved a message telling me I had been blanking areas of this article, and I have to ask, Blanking? I have not edited this page at all, in fact, I cannot recall ever visiting it. The only pages I have edited are the Havanis and New Mactopia pages, along with a few cities of my own linked from the Havanis page. I certainly have never been involved in blanking an article.

A mistake must have surely happened somewhere along the line, because I haven't been blanking articles. If I'm just confusing this, then please ignore this message, but I'm feeling pretty confused myself right now.

The proof is here: [1] . If you use a public computer, have a dynamic IP, or let someone on your computer that is probably why.

Also, please type ~~~~ at the end of every post you make in a talk page so it shows who posted the message. John 23:10, 19 August 2007 (GMT)
