I realize that this is useful information for World Cup participants, but does it really belong in an encyclopædia? —Commerce Heights (talk) 03:32:46, 2005-12-13 (GMT)

Meh, it needs cleanup I guess, but it's very informative. → Ceo\squawk 03:56, December 13, 2005 (GMT)
As the fool who both wrote this and put it on the wiki; I, unsurprisingly, think its very useful. Instead of a link to a Jolt thread that only one person can ever update, or having to look in the WCDT for the most-recent iteration of some benevolent player doing an FAQ, a wiki page makes sense. Plus it can tell interested users all about the OOC nature of the Cup in one page. This is a place for information, right? Perhaps FAQs is the wrong name, but this is still information relevant to a wiki browser; it may not be RP 'fluff', but it's still a useful source of information. - Star 12:36, December 13, 2005 (GMT)
Re-reading the article, it sounds a lot like it should be merged into World Cup: “The Nationstates World Cup (NSWC) is a Football (Soccer) tournament…” —Commerce Heights (talk) 22:07:58, 2005-12-13 (GMT)
In writing the FAQs (originally for a post on jolt) I used some of the useful rhetoric on the main World Cup page. I thin kthe Main one would be far too unweildly with the FAQ information merged into it - one of the same reasons i created a World Cup Committee page and shifted the blocks of interesting but ultimately superfluous information there. - Star 22:12, December 13, 2005 (GMT)
