Language spoken by the Tavastian tribes sho settled in eastern Alçaera during the first millenia. Closely related to Carelian language, by the 20th century Carelian had basically been assimilated in Tavast. Unlike most common languages of the NS world, Tavast does use use prepositions (such as "to", "my") to formulate words. Instead the language uses postpositions, suffixes added to the end of a word. For example, the sentence "to my house" would be written as one word, "talooni",

Tavast is closely based on the RL Finnish language, with nuances from RL Karelian and Estonian.
