These are the important dates in RED SOX NATION'S history. I will change it to more of a story form later.
23rd of December 2005 The foundations of RED SOX NATION are lain as Winstonopia, the founder, begins large scale recruitment. The Region at this time consists of some five regions, including Winstonopia, Mark Warner in 2008, Southern Acre, My Urinary Tract, All Sports but Soccer and Lengastan.
24th of December 2005 After primary technical difficulties, an offsite forum is set up by Lengastan. Winstonopia is the first to reply to Lengastan's "Welcome" post.
26th of December 2005 A provisional Council is set up with Winstonopia, Lengastan and Southern Acre as the three Councilors.
29th of December 2005 The now legendary thread "Ideas for Government" is begun, as work begins on RSN's government style.
2nd of January 2006 The Constitution of another region, Sparrow, is taken and rewritten by Southern Acre and Lengastan to be used as the building blocks for RSN's future.
5th of January 2006 The Provisional Council is dissolved after discussion over its need to exist. It is decided that RSN be governed by direct democracy until a proper government is elected. RSN consits of 27 nations at this time. An invasion is begun into the region of Zullou. The first ever Government nominations begin.
6th of January 2006 After a spate of UN puppets being created, Altissimo, Goldesam, NO MORE BUSH, Mark Warner in 2008, Winstonopia and Goodbyekitty are all ejected from the UN for rule violations. The invasion into Zullou is stopped for fear of further retribution.
7th of January 2006 A vote is begun on the Constitution, which has by this point undergone many changes.
9th of January 2006 The first ever electoral debates begin, as suggested by Coldseal Windows. The debates take place between Goldesam and Southern Acre, as the position they both run for, Speaker of the Full House, is the only position of contestion.
15th of January 2006 The Constitution is officaly declared law, by 14 votes to nil.
16th of January 2006 An invasion is begun into North of the World.
18th of January 2006 The invasion ends in failure, the defender region having blocked access to the regional control panel. An invasion is begun by redsox06, a puppet of Winstonopia, into Allied Nations of the world. The region is in chaos, both UN delegate and founder absent. Alliance offers are extended by North of the World to RSN, and by RSN to Sparrow.
20th of January 2006 The founder of Allied Nations of the world returns to his region and swiftly ends redsox06's invasion by barring access to the regional controls. Ducassi, a nation from the region, comes to RED SOX NATION to seek revenge. Despite possesing 35% of Allied Nations of the World's military forces, he is ejected from the region by Winstonopia following a decisive discussion on the forum.
21th of January 2006 Unofficial alliances are declared with Sparrow and Allied Nations of the World. Alliance discussions are begun with both the former and latter, and with NEW WORLD ALLIANCE. RSN consits of 32 nations at this time.
