Termagant is the name of at least two ships - one sea vessel and one space ship - related to Eastasia. The HMS Termagant was a T-class destroyer of the Royal British Navy and converted into a Type 16 frigate by Grayson Rollo in Birkenhead from 1952 - 1953 due to rapid advances in technology. The Termagant may have been part of the British Hong Kong Fleet centered around the HMS Hood following the government's exile to Hong Kong in the mid-1940's. The HMS Termagant was scrapped in 1965, about five years after the british exile government came under control of Eastasia.

The other ship going by the name Termagant is a A6M120 space ship with slight alterations currently under construction by Mitsubishi-Supermarine on the British Isles. The spaceship is intended for export to NeoZion. Modifications will include a Deadly Brain-driven artificial organic tissue for repair and a crew of Cytaurs. The ship is thus far superior to contemporary designs, like the Ragnarok or Millenium Falcon.

Both ships have been named after the Termagant, a stock character in medieval theater plays.
