The security branch of the Terra Corporation acts as the armed force for the nation/conglomerate. Though its mission is mainly defensive (customs, border guards, etc), the security branch has recently reorganized to tackle the much larger problems of piracy and Islamic fundamentalism. The flood of cheap post-war weapons and manpower has had a destabilizing effect on the entire region. Conflict was good for business when the Terra Corporation was the underdog. But now that it’s the dominant force in regional economics, the Terra Corporation can't afford to lose business to conflict. Terra Corp Security has close ties with the Terra Corporation's arms manufacturing and defense research branches. As such, TCS soldiers often have cutting edge equipment. Long-term goals continue to be regional stability and asset protection. The rising power of the south, Romulus Britannia, a unified China that’s rebuilding its economy and the unpredictable Maoists are all objects of long-term concern to Terra Corp Security.
