The Territorial Force (Территориальные Войска) is a component of the Taraskovyan National Defence Forces that consists of part-time militia soldiers. The Territorial Force serves as a primary rapid mobilisation force for the Taraskovyan military in case of armed conflict on such a scale that the regular elements would require militia assistance. Militia soldiers receive a lighter training in comparison to their regular colleagues, but still have a similar array of possible specialities and skills.

The Territorial Force was previously known as the Civil Defence Force under the Ministry of the Interior and served largely as a heavily armed paramilitary police and civil assistance force. Since the transfer to the Ministry of Defence and the reformation as Territorial Force, the structures means grew considerably heavier, and its role expanded to that counter-offense against an aggressor.
