Legacy of tesla technology was still frightening in the Second Great War. Hordes of Shock Troopers, soldiers with primitive tesla coils in their hands was a terryfing weapon during the first Great War. Later, restored and upgraded with better armor and more effective and modern tesla weapon, the Tesla Troopers remain as great assault soldiers, which are perfectly heating up the situation inside enemy vehicles as well as outside them. The only disadvantage that has turned out during the researches over new tesla coil, was decreasement of lighting's range - somehow Soviets lost the long range personal tesla coils' possibilities with no possibility to research it again under the pressure of Allied Chrono Sphere assaults. During year after Yuri's failure, they have managed to slightly upgrade range of troopers' weapon. Tesla Troopers can also charge up big Tesla Coil defenses, in order to increase their power and range - two of them can work as Tesla Coil's own power generator. Due to the heavy armor they wear, they cannot be attacked by enemy dogs.

The Tesla Commando carries a self-contained Tesla cannon, and wears a light-duty insulated suit to protect him from errant discharges. His cannon is specially tuned to target infantry and vehicle units only; to destroy buildings, he must get up close and personal to use his C4 explosives. The Telsa cannon is not really designed to be used as a hand weapon, but it can be used that way in a pinch, should the Tesla Commando be set upon by enemy units while moving from place to place. Unfortunately, the cannon isn't as powerful as a standard Tesla Trooper's weapon under those conditions. Where the Tesla Commando really shines when in a deployed configuration. Then his barricade renders him uncrushable, and his Tesla cannon's power and range reaches its full potential.

Eastasia Universe

The Soviet Union in the world of Eastasia, and the White Russians in the same setting also employ tesla technology comparable to the examples mentioned above.
