The following is a brief on The Union of Socialist Tribes of Europa(of which The Socialist Tribal Alliance of The Mongol-Swedes is the founding nation), which is affectionally refered to by its citizens as 'The Tribelands'.

Major Settlements of The Tribelands

Scandinaviopolis is the capitol, and has been the site of several important international mediations in Europa on behalf of the Mongol-Swedes, and is the second busiest port settlement in the Union, behind Rottborg. Lingon Airport, the Union's main domestic travel airport, is a unique one, centrally located in the swampy areas that make up much of the Midwest of the Tribelands.

Darnala Internatonal Airport, on the other hand, is located to the southeast of Scandinaviopolis, along the Rail Line of The Tribes, which runs through the central and western regions of the Union, while Ruschtyab International Airport, the main port of entry for international diplomats, is located 90 kilometers to the east of our northwestern border with The Sublime Principate of Akiiryu. Darhan is a major settlement located at the north end of the central swamps, and is known as the premier source of bayou cuisine in Europa.

Tiyvtar and Ulcoora, recently the host of a historical moment in the history of Europa, The Incident of Sector 21, are the only main settlements in the arid northeast of the Union(which is primarily tropical, and shares a climate nearly identical with Indonesia). The settlement of Malmon is a port city on the eastern coast of the Union, at the far western end of the Gulf of Lobonski.

Liberty Space Centre, headquarters of the Europan Space Agency, is located 50 kilometers southeast of Ulcoora.

Geography of The Tribelands

The environment of The Union, thanks to intensive focus on government spending, is one of the most preserved and beautiful in the world. The center of The Union is dominated by tropical swamps, one of the most humid areas in Europa, though much of the natural land, being submerged, does not allow for many trees like those seen in rain forests to develop. The south and western coastlines are very tropical, mostly inhabited by very large modern, yet reserved in terms of "concrete-and-steel" infrastructure.

In the northeastern region, however, the land is quite arid, shifting dunes for miles, though dotted with several oases, a few of them quite large and similar to the wetlands of the central region. Massive natural springs have been detected under the dunes of the northeast, and efforts are being made to de-desertify this area.
