The Romanesque Civilization of TheNeoRomanEmpire is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its punitive income tax rates. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.
Military spending is on the increase, jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses', and there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. TheNeoRomanEmpire's national animal is the bushwolly, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the neocoin.

History of NeoRome
In order to preserve the history of NeoRome for next generation, The Citidel of history was founded in the hopes of documenting all the history of NeoRome so that future generations will know their past and learn from it.
I, Theodora Euphrosyne in the year of Xavior 29 am head historian for the Citidel and one of my job is to ensure you understand the date system of NeoRoman history. Now it was determined and decided upon that all NeoRomans would use a day system for cataloging years by the name of the NeoCaesar ruling at the time and his or her age. NeoCaesar Xavior Augustus is currently ruling NeoRome at this time and it is his 28 year of life, so then all events in this year will be catagorized under Xavior 28. However, history which predates the time of the NeoCaesar such as the founding of the nation will be catagorized under the universal dating system.
The Splitting of Russia
March 2: After allowing it to escalate since January of 2005, the Russian democratic government is now overwhelmed with having to control the population as hundreds of protests begin popping up all over the nation. Eminating from antigovernment propaganda magazines which were illegally made and distributed throughout the nation, the Russian population now has a strong disbelief in it's governments power to protect them from the dangerous world which continues to grow outside Russia's borders.
March 15: Within the secure walls of a secret underground facility the soldiers for the Czar met. They were a secret society of Russian citizen who dislike democracy and wish to gain back the thrown of Russia to a man named Ivan Edwards, who proclaims that he is a direct descendant of Ivan the terrible. Under him he controls a massive army of over 500 thousand. As the meeting progressed they came to the conclusion that if they were to ever make a strike against the government it must had to be then, while the anarchy of the protests continued.
March 20: A commanding officer of the soldiers of the Czar learned of a large protest which is to be held in the capital city of Moscow. It would seem that many of the protesting groups around Russia have decided to join together as one massive group and storm the capital. Number of protesters is estimated around one million.
March 21: A meeting of the soldiers of the Czar is held in there secret facility and it is agree that the time to strike is during the grand scale protest. They decide to use the protest as a diversion to mask they're movements. They will storm the capital and take hostage the entire Russia Parliament. They plan to use their hostage situation to get their demands met. They know that in the end the population will support them and the Russian government won't be able to support a civil war of that scale.
March 26: As promised, a massive herd of over a million people storm the city of Moscow in the early morning. Among the masses, the soldiers of the Czar make their way to the capital. As the protesting group moves on forward, the army breaks off from the group and uses the back streets to move towards the Parliament building quicker and from all sides. After a short bloody skirmish at the many entrances of the parliamant building, the army gains entry and within two hours has the entire building and all it's political occupants hostage. Having a large explosive devices with them, the army orders the president to call of any recuse mission that the Russian military could be planning or they will detonate the device and obliterate both the Russian Leaders and the army themselves. The President complies and a great stand off begins.
March 31: It's been over a week since the Soldiers of the Czar has taken hostage the entire Russian Parliament. By this time they had made their demands to the Russian President. They demanded that he give up his exicutive powers while Parliament gave up theirs and sign over the nation's sovereignty to them. While they waited the protestors had caught wind of the events which had occurred and began to violently show their support for the Soldiers of the Czar with massive riots and other demonstrations. The military worked hard but the amount of people was just too overwhelming to control. Finally, on a national telecast, the President announced that he would be leaving official and signing away Russia's soveriegnty to the Czar Ivan. The Telecast goes on to show the entire Russian Parliament and the President signing a Declaration of Dictatorship, which simply reinstates all the power and rights the Czar once held before the government converted to democracy.
The Russian population is overjoyed by the turn of events. It is estimated that the majority of Russian people have complete faith in the new Czars ability to rule fairly and protect the nation completely.
April 10: While the Czar continues to make reforms to the government in an effort in completely reconstruct the Russian government in his image, it comes to his attention that a band of Russia cities spanning from St. Petersburg to Moscow itself, have come together and refused to accept the Czars reforms. It seems that the population of these cities is made of many of the former protesters who were glad to see the former government taken out, but completely disagree with the Czars ability to govern.
April 11: As the Czar considers these "rebel cities" he soon concludes that they could soon become a problem. They're views begin to grow in popularity and he fears that they could start another political revolt, or perhaps even a civl war. The Czar has yet to completely gain control of the entire Russian military, and the soldiers of the Czar are completely exhausted from the hostile takeover itself. So in fact, if another revolt or even a war were to start, it would completely disconnect the Czar's already "loose" grip on the government and throw Russia into utter chaos.
April 12: In an attempt to keep control over his newly acquired empire, the Czar makes a radical decision. In a national telecast the Czar tells the "rebel cities" that he will allow them to secede from the nation peacefully and form their own nation. An as a sign of good faith, he will hand over the city of Moscow and move the capital to Jakutsk which lies on the Leno River. Two hours after making the telecast, the Czar receives word that the cities have accepted his offer and has given him until the 18th of April to evacuate Moscow.
April 19: Leaders from the "rebel cities" gather in their capital city of St. Petersburg which they rename as Paradise City to make decisions on how to govern themselves. Becoming known as The Founders, They soon come to unanimous decision to form a nation model after ancient Rome, but yet make reforms to that government style so that it can effectively handle today's issues. They call their new nation TheNeoRomanEmpire, and crown Julius Augustus, a prominent voice in their protest against the Czar, as their NeoCaesar
April 22 of Augustus 26: TheNeoRomanEmpire is in control of a region of Russia that spans from the former St. Petersburg to Moscow, and the rest of the nation is under control of the Czar and the soldiers of the Czar.Reports, however seem to indicate that the remaining parts of Russia under the Czar have since collapsed and the area remains unclaimed by any major power.
The Red Plague
The red plague was a deady disease which originated from the nation of Egyria. After several days it quickly spread across the world, uncluding the European Continent. It took months before the Eygrian government was able to develope a cure and save the world. However, it is estimated that billions died all over the world while the Red Plague covered the world in it's cloud of red death.

Following the wide spread of a newly discovered disease, NeoCaesar Xavior Augustus has place the nation under quarantine.
All borders and ports are closed to all traffic in and out of the Empire. This following the events which transpired at the NeoRoman International Airport. Several passengers from the Colony of Sardinia and Corsica fell extremely ill during their flight home to the mother land. It was approximately an hour after receiving a message from the plane about the ill passengers that the plane crashed landed in the countryside of the Cappadocia province.
All NeoRoman citizens have been ordered to their local Raid Shelters. The Raid Shelters where built under the Julius Augustus rule and where built to serve as a location for citizens to retreat to should the nation come under enemy attack and invasion. The bunkers are several feet underground and are sealed tight to prevent chemical agents from entering them in the event of a biological bomb detonating within NeoRome. Sources tell us that the entire royal family has also been rushed to a special underground bunker as well as the members of the Imperial Senate and their families. Sources tell us that some civilian RAID bunkers have already been compromised by the infected. No word yet on how many nor on how the Colony of Sardinia and Corsica is doing.

Good evening and welcome, we're reporting to you live from Raid Shelter #285-4. In our top story tonight, the plague has ripped through NeoRome as specialists are now reporting plague victims in almost every province throughout the Empire. It was earlier this week that the first reports of the plague were made and NeoCaesar Xavior Augustus ordered NeoRomans to their local Raid Shelters. It's reported that a staggering 30% of the populace did not make it to their local Raid Shelter before they were sealed shut. We are also getting word that out of the 70% that did make it to their local shelter, another 20% became infected due to breaches in their shelter's environmentally sealed hauls. Experts are reporting that this is the single most destructive natural disaster that has ever befallen NeoRome taking claim to the death of almost half the populace in NeoRome.
We have now learned that NeoCaesar Xavior Augustus has sent the military out to not only secure NeoRoman borders but to also search the cities for any survivors.
Soldiers were geared with the latest in hazmat technology and were sent out earlier this morning. Many commented on how so many of ht major cities in NeoRome have come virtual "ghost towns." Because of the chaos which broke out minutes after the alerts were sound for the populace to head to their local raid shelters, many of the streets looked much like war zones.
Still no word on the colony of Sardinia and Corsica. Tonight soldiers will continue to guard the borders and citizen will remain in the raid shelters until a solution to this plague is found. Experts are telling us that the raid shelters can support the populace for at least a month.

After months of isolation in the raid bunkers, the population of NeoRome, what is left of it, has begun leaving the safe heavens and returning to their beloved cities and homes. As the cure provided by the Egyrian government is spread across the nation to all the local and regional medical centers, the total number of deaths are still uncertain however experts are putting the total around 50 million.
We do have reports that NeoCaesar Xavior Augustus and the entire Augustus Royal Family did survive the plague as well as the Grand Senators of the Imperial Senate. As the government prepares to bring the nation back to normal (as close as they can get it to normal) NeoCaesar Julius Augustus released this statement to NeoRomans and the World:
Truly the red death was like nothing our world has ever seen. It spread it's evil and sickness throughout the world killing the innocent and crumbling our very way of life. To the NeoRomans and to all the people lost to the plague I say this, you have NeoRome's sympathy with you. I can only thank my father for instituting the raid shelters, they were meant to protect NeoRome from chemical warfare in the case of war, and truly that is what they did. For though no man was our enemy, true the plague was and I am so very thankful to the Egyrian scientist who worked day and night to bring us a cure. Truly the Egyrian nation will be praised in NeoRome for many years to come. As for the memorial service being held in Prussia, I can assure you that I and my sister Princess Alexandria will be in attendance. I feel that not only is our presence require to pay our respects to the fallen, but also to promote peaceful relations with our nation and that of Prussia. Thank you.
The War of the Saxe-Coburgian Succession
NeoRoman's involvement in the War of the Saxe-Coburgian Succession comes in after the mysterious death of Neu Kaiser Ruprecht of Prussia. The Neu Kaiser was in NeoRome for the peace talks which NeoRome was holding between Saxe-Coburg and Prussia in an attempt to finally put an end to the agression between the two nations. However, Emperor Johann II Sebastian of Saxe-Coburg failed to attend the renewed peace talks and so Ruprecht was left with nothing to do. Princess at the time, Alexandria Augustus was asked by her brother to entertain the Neu Kaiser in an attempt to form beter relations between the two countries. During their breif time together Alexandria was able to get to know Ruprecht on a much more personal level than anyone elese had ever been. Sadly, however Ruprecht was assassinated in NeoRome during his tour of it with Alexandria. Though NeoRome will go on to blame Saxe-Coburg for the Neu Kaisers death, the real assassins remain a mystery.
Heart broken and outraged Alexandria quickly returned tot he capital to tell her brother of the news. She was completely convinced that the assassin was from Saxe-Coburg given Saxe-Coburg and Prussia bloody history and pleaded with her brother to take action. With the support of the Imperial Senate, NeoCaesar Xavior Augustus declared war on Saxe-Coburg for the death of the Neu Kasier and for assassinating him on NeoRoman soil.
It was only few days before that NeoCaesar Xavior had sold the ECP battleship fleet to the nation of Morracon and TacCom (Tactical Commmand) decided to use that to their advantage to get allies onto the side of NeoRome for the coming war. Since the ships had to pass by Saxe-Coburg to reach Morracon, TacCom ordered the ships to fake a navagation systems failure and pass very close to the shore of Saxe-Coburg. Saxe-Coburg in return saw this as NeoRome's first actions in the war and atacked the EPC Fleet which was being escorted by The NeoRoman Odyssey Fleet. With Odyssey fleet was completely destroyed and the EPC Fleet sufferinng some damage the nation of Morracon saw this as an act of war against them from Saxe-Coburg and quickly declaried war on them on the side of NeoRome. Morracon, being a member of the Poiters Pack (An alliance within Europe) quickly got the aid of Free Britain, Pascoag, and Gallia. The Dominion of Laeplaen and Prussia (the new government which controlled Prussia after the collapse of it's old government following the death of the Neu Kasier and who is often refered to as just "The Dominion") was also outraged by the event and declaired war on Saxe-Coburg, their allies of Bohemia were wuick to follow.
Many Holy League (an alliance between all Catholic nations in the war) were quick to come to the aid of Saxe-Coburg including: New Hamruf, South Africa, Menhad, Norightsia, and The Assassination Army. Catholic Europe had fallen into dispair during the core months of the war so it did not participate however in the later months of the war, once Catholic Europe begant o rebuild itself, several secret Catholic terrorist groups saw action.
The war was a long and bloody one which costed both sides numerious amounts of soldiers and countless amounts of money. Most of the fighting was done within Saxe-Coburg with Free Britain and Morracon moving into the nation from the North and the Dominion and NeoRome forces moving in from the east. New Harumf and South African soldiers are the only ones of the Catholics to have been reported in Saxe-Coburg aiding her defense. Norigghtsian and Assassnation Army soldiers decided to take a different apporach to the war and invade NeoRome, hoping they could stop NeoRome by taking the nation out of the picture.
However another event during this war would change that. It was during the War, Empress Archidite who had married the NeoCaesar some months before had lost faith in her husband. She felt that he no longer carried for her and her unborn sons which she carried and so decided to leave for Norightsia where her sister would surely take her in. She left before Norightsia had invaded and her plan was to simply use a servant of hers as a decoy for the Imperial guards, however the NeoRoman Catholic terrorist group operating withn the nation since the begining of the war known as the Hand Of God thought that the servant really was Archidite and in a fire-fight to take the Empress hostage they killed the servant. NeoCaesar Xavior not knowing that it wasn't his wife, thought Archidite was now dead. This event and a terrorist act on him and the funeral would later lead him to killing himself and naming Alexandria NeoCaesar before the war was over. Not knwoing that her servant was killed and after some dealing with TheNeoDynasty Archidite made it to Norightsia where she found out that they had invaded her country. She pleaded with the Norightisan Emperor Galerius to spare her nation in return for the custody of her twins which were to be born any day. He refused and in her heart broken state she went into labor.
The twins sons of Xavior, Romulus and Remis were born however, Archidite was too weak to survive the labor. It was on her death bed that she gave the Norhgtisan Emperor her sons and made her final plea to save her nation. This time the Emperor took her plea to heart and called a cease fire with NeoRome. NeoRome who had no idea why Norightsia had called the cease fire took it as a sign of good fortune and pushed on with their Dominion allies until they finally reached the Capital of Saxe-Coburg. There, after a long fight with the New Harumfian forces they took the capital and ended the war.
The Summit for Saxe-Coburgian Peace, Held in Stockholm
After the fall of Coburg which brough an end to the Saxe-Coburgian war, The Dominion of Laeplaen and Prussia held a Peace Summit in Stockholm so that the allies could determine the fate of the defeated Saxe-Coburg. The Catholics were invited and once the plan was laid out to divide Saxe-Coburg up into administered zone of whihc the allies would seperately control, they were outraged. Arguements insued and it seemed as if the European nations were ready or war once again until finally the Catholics decided to take their victory in NeoRome and settle with that.
Saxe-Coburg was effectively divided among the allies and the country entered a period of statelyhood. NeoRome was also effectively divided up amoung the Catholic allies. However, only everything south of the provinces of Noricum and Dacia were taken as shown in this map.
It is undetermined then as to what exactly a Catholic occupation would bring to NeoRome and her people.
The Goverment
Executive Branch
NeoCaesar: NeoRome is ruled by a NeoCaesar of whom rules for life. The NeoCaesar is given total control, yet yields most of his power to the Imperial Senate. NeoCaesar represents a house (a term used to refer to his family) and it is from this house in which he provides an heir to the throne. Each house is considered to rule the crown until their are no more living members of that House. In this event, the Imperial Senate will hold open election for the crown and a new NeoCaesar will be elected by the poeple, and a new house will rule the crown.Presently the House of Augustus rules the crown.
Legislative Branch
The Imperial Senate: The Imperial Senate is the two body legislative branch of NeoRome. The main body is made up of the Grand Chancellor and 4 Grand Senators. They serve as the head council of the Imperial Senate and are responsible for the deciding vote on all matters brought before the Imperial Senate. The Grand Chancellor and Senators are all of the same political party. The Grand Chancellor is seen as the poltiical party leader and the Grand Senators are his/her running mates. They serve a term of 5 years and can serve an unlimited amount of consecutive years. The secondary body of the Imperial Senate consists of the governors from all the provinces and colonial provinces of NeoRome. Governors have the power to bring before the Imperial Senate bills to be voted on and among themselves can vote on issues. However these voting results are seen only as popularity votes and are used only to help the main body of the Imperial Senate make its decision. Governors are elected seperately within their respective provinces and are only allowed to serve 3 year terms, with as many consecutive terms as they wish.
- Grand Chancellor: The Grand chancellor of NeoRome holds a variety of powers as the presiding officer of the Imperial Senate. They are considered the voice of the Imperial Senate and is the only one from the main body of the Imperial Senate allowed to speaking during sessions unless he/she addresses a Grand Senator on a subject. The Grand Chancellor also has the ability to create committees within the Imperial Senate to preform certain duties needed to pass legislation. Most committees created are that of the investigatory nature. In the event of a NeoCaesar's death and no heir is left within the ruling family, then the Imperial Senate gains control of NeoRome with the Grand Chancellor taking of a presidential to role. The Grand Chancellor will assume this role for one year and then elections must be held to vote in a new ruling family.
Grand Senators: Grand Senators are not only the heads of their Senate Departments but are also heads of other various departments, which fall under their jurisdiction. The Following are a run down of what departments are under what Grand Senator.
- The Grand Senator of NeoRome: The Grand Senator of NeoRome’s job is to represent the populace in the Imperial Senate. He is the true voice of the average NeoRoman. Each city has it’s own people’s secretary who is present at all town of city meetings and documents issues in which the populace what’s the Imperial Senate to address. The secretary then sends the issues to the people’s representation council. Their job is to review each issue and then put them in a report based on priority and then sends the report to the Grand Senator to present it to the rest of the Imperial Senate. Other Departments under the Grand Senator of NeoRome are: Education Department, Welfare Department, Food and Health Department and Recycling Department. Curently Diocletian Chlorus
- The Grand Senator Attorney General: The Grand Senator Attorney General is the head of the NeoRoman Department of Justice concerned with legal affairs and is the chief law enforcement officer of the NeoRoman government. Other Departments under the Grand Senator Attorney General are: Department of courts, department of prisons, the department of national lawyers, and the department of law enforcement.Currently Valeris Romulus
- The Grand Senator of Treasury: The Grand Senator of Treasury’s job is to making sure all of NeoRome’s government finances are in order. It is also the Grand Senator’s job to supervise the making and distribution of neocoins. Other Departments under the Grand Senator are: The Trade Department, The Stock and Bond department, and The Social Security Department. Currently Favius Clemens
- The Grand Senator of Foreign Affairs: The Grand Senator of Foreign Affairs’ job is to give insight on what other nation's opinions are on topics brought up in the Imperial Senate. He is the official spokesman for the Imperial Senate to other nations. Other departments under the Grand Senator of Foreign Affairs are: The Ambassadors Department, Intelligence Department, The Border Control Department and Immigration Department Currently Domnica Galates
Governors of the Provinces:
The Governors of the Provinces of NeoRome have the specific job to maintaining their respective provinces. They are responisble for carrying out laws set by the Imperial Senate as well as orders sent by the NeoCaesar.

- Imperial Supreme court: The Imperial Supreme Court is made up of the Grande Senator of the court of whom is the head judge and six appointed judges of whom are elected by the Grand Senator of the Court and NeoCaesar. All appointed judges serve for life.
The Political Party System of NeoRome
The Polticial System is an interesting insitution. When it comes to the Imperial Senate, the main body runs as an entire polticial party. The party leader runs for the position of Grand Chancellor and then within him are 4 running mates who look to take the positions of the the Grand Senators. Votes are based on what a certain polticial party believes in and stands for not on the individual person and their platform.
When it comes to voting for a New NeoCaesar, this only occurs when the former NeoCaesar passes without leaving an heir. A NeoCaesar is a representative of a ruling house. It is the reponsibility of that house to produce heirs to the crown. Usually heirs are the direct children of the ruling house, however it is not unlikely for a ruling family to name a cousin or other distant relative a NeoCaesar's heir so that the ruling house can keep control of the crown. In the event that no heir is produced, the Imperial Senate obtains control over the nation until elections can be held to vote in a new NeoCaesar. NeoCaesar's run as representatives of their family and voters often look at what their family's values and idealisms are when chosing a candidate.
The Political Parties
- The First Party The First Party is modeled after the idealisms of the First NeoCaesar of NeoRome, Julius Augustus. They are advocates of World Peace, the enviroment, social equality, and civil rights. They believe that NeoRome should do all it can to help out those in and outside the nation that are less fortunate.
Russian Heritage Party The Russian Heritage Party is modeled after the Soviet Union. Members believe in their heritage as Russians and wish to bring a lot of the idealism's of the USSR to NeoRome, including that of Communism. They are for isolationism, further industrialization and collectivization. They believe that NeoRome should return to the people who built her.
Cross Party The Cross Party is a Catholic based party. They believe that NeoRome has oppressed religion for too long and want to bring Catholicism to the mainstream. They will look to abolish same-sex marriages and protistution while also reforming the public education system to a more traditional setting.
Republic Party The Republic Party is a pro-democracy group. They believe that there is too much dictatorship within the Empire and want to change it. They hope to be able to setup more councils and give the Imperial Senate in general more power when it comes to executive decisisons. They believe in freedom and human rights above all other things.

The Economy:
Most of NeoRome's economy centers around the Automobile Manufacturing industry. The Auto industry in NeoRome produces nothing but eco-friendly vechiles. The Shipyard complex which spans the entire coast line of NeoRome (excluding the coast line of the capital city of Paradise ) makes the shipping industy another strong industry within NeoRome. Other industries include: A complete range of mining and extractive industries producing coal, oil, gas, chemicals, and metals; all forms of machine building from rolling mills to high-performance aircraft; road and rail transportation equipment; communications equipment; agricultural machinery, and construction equipment; electric power generating and transmitting equipment; medical and scientific instruments; consumer durables, textiles, foodstuffs, handicrafts.

The traditional NeoRoman diet resembles that of a Russian diet since most NeoRomans were Russian’s before the transition the great split. Beef, chicken, pork, and fish are popular main dishes. The most commonly eaten vegetables include beets, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, radishes, and tomatoes. NeoRomans are fond of soups, breads, and dairy products. NeoRomans drink large quantities of tea, but coffee has become popular. Juices, mineral water and soft drinks are also consumed. Frying remains a widespread method of preparing food, though because of the growing diversity of people moving into NeoRome, other methods are starting to become the norm, such as baking and grilling. Fast Food restaurants are becoming widely popular, however traditional restaurants are still a majority favorite.
Breakfast: Tradition breakfast foods in NeoRome include eggs, sausages, muffins, biscuits, butter, jelly, and jam. It also includes pancakes, hash browns, and a very new food choice to the European breakfast, grits. Breakfast drinks of choice are orange juice, milk, and coffee.
Lunch (Mid-day meal): Meals eaten for lunch are usually light. They usually consist of some sort of vegetables such as a salad and some kind of sandwich or soup.
Dinner: Meals eaten at dinner usually consists of a salad or appetizer; soup; meat or fish with potatoes and dessert, such as some sort of cake, pie, or pastry. Because Vodka is Russia's trademark alcoholic beverage, it is also a widely popular alcoholic beverage in NeoRome. NeoRomans also drink wine, champagne, cognac, and beer. Though alcohol abuse has been and remains a major social problem in Russia, NeoRome has a very low percent of alcoholics because of strict laws pertaining to laws broken while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.
Leisure and Entertainment:
NeoRomans enjoy watching television, reading, playing board games such as chess or checkers, seeing motion pictures, plays, broad-way musicals, and operas, visiting museums, walking, and taking part in sports. Though NeoRoman law has put a salary cap of one million dollars on all professional athletes, there is still a large portion of the NeoRoman populace that play a professional sport. Baseball is the most popular participant and spectator sport in NeoRome. Other popular sports include gymnastics, basketball, Football (American), Soccer, Rugby, Lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee, golf, Tennis and such winter sports as hockey, ice-skating, skiing, and snowboarding. NeoRome has a large amount of athletic clubs, stadiums, recreational centers, parks and other sporting facilities. The people of NeoRome are avid nature lovers, and they enjoy spending time in the countryside. They love to garden, hike, bicycle, swim, fish, and take part in other outdoor activities. The majority of NeoRoman people vacation in the summer though winter vacations are not uncommon. NeoRomans spend more time in museums than do the people of most other European countries. NeoRome has over 660 museums. NeoRomans also love to read and NeoRome has about 62,000 libraries. Most towns and large villages have a public library. There are also libraries that specialize in particular subjects and libraries run by factories, schools, labor unions, and professional and civic organizations. The Hottest spot for entertainment and was in known throughout the nation as the capital of all NeoRoman entertainment is the city of Cupiditas. The city itself is divided into two sections: Upper and Lower town. In Upper Cupiditas you’ll find the grand music halls, Broadway theaters, opera houses, ballrooms, and other “high class” entertainment centers. Opposite to that is lower Cupiditas where anything and everything is legal. Bars, strip clubs, city ran brothels, “drug” stores and several dance and party clubs (lower Cupiditas is very much like the real-life Vegas, but a lot more gets away in Cupiditas). Surprisingly however, as free as lower Cupiditas is, the crime rate there is extremely low, compared to other cities in other nations that are similar.
Music and the Arts:
NeoRome boasts itself as being one of the most artistic societies Europe has to offer. The government proudly sponsors the arts and it comes in 2nd in the government funding charts, the first being education and the 3rd being recycling. Music is totally uncensored in NeoRome and the populace is so eclectic with it’s preferred musical genre that music stores in NeoRome usually use the slogan “If it is, was, or will be music we have, and if it’s not, we probably still have it” in their adds. Just like music, Art such as paintings and sculptures are completely uncensored. Nothing is seen as too abstract, risqué, or immoral. Art galleries and museums are often seen full of pieces and are usually seen with high attendants from the populace, especially The Hermitage Museum in the capital city of Paradise (formerly known as St. Petersburg) which has one of the largest art collections in the world. Poets are also very prominent in NeoRome along with singers, dancers, actors and other thespians.
==Religion:== Under the Law NeoRomans have the freedom of religion. The percentage of the public devoted to a certain religion is: Catholicism (10%), Orthodox Christians (10%), Buddhism (5%), Islam (9%), Judaism (2%), and Other 64%(such as atheists, agnostics).
Education:
NeoRoman teachers are the highest paid individuals in the entire Empire, with environmental workers in second, Medical physicians in third, Government employees in fourth and military personnel in fifth (which includes local law enforcement). NeoRome itself has a very unique educational system. All children attend school for 12 years, from age 6 to 18. Elementary education includes 5 primary grades (Elementary Academies). Elementary Academies teach the basics of reading, writing, mathematics, science, literature, and history. After completing Elementary Academy children are then moved into vocational and Artistic based schools (Middle Academies), which runs from grades 6-8. Here children are given a choice from a wide variety of courses to study during their 3 years at the school. Such fields include: Drama, choral programs, orchestra programs, Band programs, Painting, Sculpting, Dance, Studying/Writing: Poetry, short stories, novels, studying horticulture, culinary arts, religious studies, foreign culture studies, and many others. When pupils finish eighth grade, they are then moved into the finally stage of the public education system in NeoRome, that of the Secondary schools (High Academies). These schools emphasize on more in-depth science, mathematics, languages, literature, history, social sciences, and physical educations that the elementary schools did not go into such as: Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, physics, Trigonometry, Calculus, Political Science, Civics, Economical Science, and Athletic involvement. After completion of a High Academy, students graduate from the public schooling system of NeoRome. Students can then chose to from a wide variety of Universities, colleges, and Community education facilities to further their studies in whatever field they chose. One of the Largest Universities in NeoRome is that of the University of Augustus located in the capital city of Paradise. It was founded by NeoCaesar Julius Augustus and was the very first University opened within NeoRome. These schools are privately run and usually students have to play a high price to attend. However the government does have a large selection of scholarships available and most are available to all students. Most merely take an application and an interview with an education department representative to be eligible. The Grand Senator of the People decides on who obtains what scholarship and most scholarships can have multiple recipients.

==Transportation:== NeoRoman transportation system is one of urban monorail systems as well a a national railway system. These systems alone help keep the environment in NeoRome a more clean one. Julius Augustus was crowned NeoCeasar at age 26 by the founders of NeoRome. The Founnders wished for a fresh new mind to rule over the newly found nation and new that Julius was the man for the job. At age 28 he married Máiréad Sabinus. Máiréad was the daughter of Governor Nymphidius Sabinus of the Rhodus province. The two enjoyed many years together while Julius was NeoCaesar and had twins together.

Xavior was crowned NeoCaesar after his father Julius Augustus retired. It was at the memorial service by those lost during the red plague that Xavior met Princess Archidte of Amazonia. The two met again shortly after when Xavior went to Amazonia with a core from the NeoRoman Army to help Amazonia get back up and running. It was then that the two snuck away back to NeoRome and married.

Alexadnria was made NeoCaesar by her brother who was slowly killing himself with poision. Since both his father and Wife had dying during The War of the Saxe-Coburgian Succession he believed that there was no need to continue living. He died shortly before the end of the war and Alexadnria was left to pick uo the pieces. Historically, Alexandria is the first Female NeoCaesar.
Alexandria during her reign did what she could to rebuild NeoRome will under the occupaiton of Catholic Forces. With NeoRoman greatly divided she could do little but hope and wait for a time we she may yet be able to reunite her people. After several failed attempts to get Catholic forces out of NeoRome by means of diplomacy, Alexandria became very bitter and grew to utterly hate all Catholics.
After secretly rebuilding the NeoRoman Army and using a secret police force to start great civil unrest people Catholics and non-Catholics in the nation, Alexandria took an open opportunity to use force to unite her people. Though she gain some province back, utlimately her NeoRoman forces were stopped. Alexandria kill herself in the same manner as her brother did before her and NeoRome was left without a ruler.

Being only 7 at the time of their late aunt's death, it was decided that Cardinal Miroslav Stepinac would act as Regent on behalf of the children until they came of age.
