The 13 Day War

Background

January 3rd, 2006: Jamminberry left The Holy Union of Hamtaro(HUOH).
January 4th: Diplomatic relations between Franberry, leader of the HUOH, and Jamminberry decreased to an all time low. Jamminberry is given an ultimatum to return to the HUOH iwithin 48 hours (January 6th), or face attack.
January 5th: HUOH raises military onto Level 3 (see Franberrian Military Preparation Levels)
January 6th: Jamminberry declared that they would not return to the union. Franberry and the rest of HUOH members withdrew their ambassadors from Jamminberry and left skeleton staffs at their embassies.
January 7th: HUOH members withdraw economic interests from Jamminberry. HUOH deploys fleet assets just outside the national waters of Jamminberry's eastern coast. Jamminberry places military on full alert, and issues and evacuation broadcast to all coastal cities.
January 8th: HUOH places military on Level 2, deploys further fleet assests just outside Jamminberry's national waters.
January 9th: HUOH fleet enters Jamminberry national waters in the afternoon, Jamminberry orders mobilization.
Jaunary 10th: War is declared by HUOH. Military raised to Level 1. Attack begins

Attack on Jamminberry

January 10th
0400 hrs: 2100 fighters and fighter-bombers take off from the HUOH fleet, they join 500 Franberrian bombers at high altitude, some recon planes go in at low altitude to guide the attack forces.
HUOH landing craft and assault carriers move towards the beaches.

0430 hrs: Jamminberry detects low-flying planes, order a scramble of costal fighter squadrons.
The 500 bombers, undetected continue into Jamminberry, they move towards airfields, AA sites, depots and transportation areas. Landing fleet approaches beaches.

0500 hrs: Jamminberry has 1700 planes in the air in the costal region, the 2100 HOUH planes move down to engage them.
HUOH landing commences, Jammin planes unable to assist their troops on the beach because they are engaged.

0530 hrs: Jamminberry speeds up evacuation from costal areas, realizing they cant hold the beaches for much longer, army units form a defensive line 5km inland.
The 500 bombers find their targets, and commence bombardment, local AA batteries are destroyed, airfields are cratered, although many still have at least one functioning runway. Transportation and depots are severely disrupted, and a couple of ammunitions stockpiles explode.

0600 hrs: The bombers clear Jammin land, only lost 25 planes.
Air battle still continues. 500 more aircraft take off from the HUOH fleet.
Jammin fleet prepares to go into action, carriers are on the other side of the country, so it will take them sometime to reach the battlefield.
HUOH troops burst out of the beachheads.

Peace Treaty

The treaty is written up as follows:

"The representatives of Jamminberry and Franberry equally and willingly agree that they will abide the following conditions:

1. Franberry and Jamminberry will remain allies, and agree (refer to seperate Defensive Pact) to uphold their promise to come to one anothers defense in times of war.

2. Tracking beacons will be placed in all Military equipment, allowing both nations at any time to see the location of said equipment. It is to be kept out of the other's nation unless specifically agreed upon beforehand.

3. A seperate Nuclear Defense Agreement has been signed stating that neither nation will fire at, target or otherwise threaten the respective other nation with any sort of nuclear warhead, regardless of any previous clauses that have been broken.

4. No negative propoganda will be spread about the other nation.

5. Finally, and the feeling is held by the NSAA, an important ally to Jamminberry, the man responsible for initiating this war, the leader of Franberry: His Holyness Kaer Tarnilov IV, will be impeached from the throne, and a new leader be elected/appointed. Only if this and all other conditions are agreed to will the treaty be accepted.

Furthermore, both nations will pay any dues for the damage caused, and issue a formal apology to avoid public uproar.

If, at any point these conditions prove inconvenient for either nation, a meeting may be held to amend them, providing both parties are in equal agreement.

When the treaty was accepted by Franberry, point 5 was changed, instead of His Holyness, the Joint Chieffs of Staff are serving life imprisonment.
