This was the force that was deployed to the former People's Republic of Urscreenhere (now the Eastern province of Koenwitz, known as Meyerburg) during the so called Liberation War. The initial assault waves suffered heavy casualties, and although the follow-up Corps were able to deal with the Urscreenian human wave attacks, the insurgency which followed the fall of Dorchester forced a significant portion of the Koenwitizian Army to deploy to Urscreenhere. It was still in place at the time of Boicoian invasion of Winter 2007, which forced a large-scale withdrawal from the province and consequent unrest.

The 2nd Koenwitz Expeditionary Force

The initial planning for the war anticipated a short conflict, and thus the following forces were deployed under the moniker of "Task Force Dorchester". However, the escalation in the war which followed the Urscreenian use of human wave assaults by clone troops meant an escalation of Koenwitzian force deployment (see below)

The Dorchester Army (1st Koenwitz Expeditionary Army)

At the beginning of July, the Urscreenian line army had been destroyed, and most of Dorchester had been destroyed. However, the enemy was still using cloned troops in unarmed human wave attacks, in an attempt to swamp Koenwitzian forces. This tactic, coupled with the rise of the insurgents who now attacked the supply lines and rear areas, caused a massive escalation in the force deployment. WESTCOM and CENTCOM commands in Koenwitz were transferred to Urscreenhere in order to control the new force groups. The arrival of 500,000 peacekeeping troops from Vanek Drury Briers allowed the new Army to concentrate its strength on patrolling the more troubled central and southern regions. It divided its forces between those patrolling the cities, small towns and villages (URBANFOR) and the countryside (RURFOR). In addition, Army Air Corps units in Urscreenhere were grouped in the First Aviation Division (Dorchester Force).

  • Officer Commanding, The Dorchester Army: Colonel-General Andreas Kaen
  • Chief of Staff: Major-General Kurt Ertz
  • Officer Commanding, URBANFOR (WESTCOM): Major-General Ernst Fest
  • Officer Commanding, RURFOR (CENTCOM): Major-General Joachim Hrabach
  • Officer Commanding, First Aviation Division: Lieutenant-General Tiefel Sturtzmann
